Brecken Ray has arrived!

Two of my closest friends just recently had a baby! I had the honor of being in their wedding three years ago and now I get to enjoy watching as their family grows. This new mom has been a friend of mine for a long long time. In fact, she was the first friend I made when my parents got a new house and I switched schools in third grade. We've grown up together, and she has been a huge part of my life. It's so awesome to have friends like that, the ones that you sit down for dinner with and not only reminisce about the past few years, but about the past 20. She let me experiment with her wedding making the invitations, and honestly is the whole reason I started this little side business.

Her baby shower invite is simple and elegant. I love anything timeless and so does this happy new momma.  The baby bedroom colors are grey and navy so we incorporated them onto the shower invitation and matching registry card. I've started adding the separate registry card because it's easier for the guests to slide it into their wallet and carry with them. Rounded corners are something new I've been trying as well, and I'm loving the look of them. A little navy bow at the top is the perfect finishing touch. I'm so happy with how these turned out! What do you think?

Milly Margaret is on her way!

Here's a sweet baby shower invitation for a little girl named Milly Margaret. This color combination proves that blue isn't just for the boys!
A blue lattice pattern filled the background, while light pink was incorporated throughout the text and in the small ribbon detail that wrapped around the center. The invite was placed inside a textured light pink envelope with each guests address printed on the front.

You're invited to a baby shower... It's a Girl!

Just when I thought everyone was only having boys, I finally get the chance to do a girl baby shower invitation. It was kind of a last minute shower, considering she only had three weeks till her due date, so we had to go a simple route with the design. Most baby showers are decorated around the theme of the room. That could be polka dots, ballerina prints, or Disney princesses... But this theme was easy to work with. The bedding picked was animal prints and jungle friends and the walls of her soon to be home were green and pink. A perfect girly mix. I stuck with simple fonts and giraffes as my focus. The personally addressed green envelopes were the final touch and added a little flair to the mailing process.
