Happy Monday friends! This invitation just makes me smile, and when is a better time to smile than on a Monday! There's not much to explain with these beauties. I met this bride while dancing for a charity event in Evansville with the SaSSquad. She is full of energy, spunk and is truly one of the most beautiful people I have met inside and out. By choosing to outsource all of her wedding details to businesses around the tri-state, her wedding is definitely #weareevv worthy. I had the honor of doing her invitations.
The invites consisted of double layered off-white weave textured paper. The red ribbon was twisted on the front and adhered to form a permanent belly band. It served two purposes, helping to hold the additional cards during transit but also adding a subtle punch to the black inked wedding invitation. The entire suite had a roaring 20's vibe without going too over the top. Using small design elements like the reversed typography of the wedding date and a subtle border helped get the theme across to the recipients.
An additional information card informed guests of the reception venue and accommodation details. If you are ever going to include accommodations, you should also call and ask for any discount options for guests. Most lodging establishments will give you a discounted rate to pass on to guests if they use a special code when booking.
The photography for the wedding was done by the fabulous Rachel Mathew Photography. If you haven't heard of her, you are missing out. Her work is flawless, and definitely captures the essence of any wedding she shoots. Not that this gorgeous couple needed any help being photogenic, they look like royalty!
Sending a big congrats to Whitney and Phillip!
